   He also said that the scores are up automatically 10 minutes after they receive them, but then he said once a day, so the two things don't really go together.
   Either way, there's way more people who didn't get the score than people in CA who got it. I think something is up. They probably didn't receive all scores, I don't know.
   Either way, it's effin' frustrating and super-distracting.

   so maybe im in wave 2 also. you know what i dont even remember what my FAR sims were about. i know i had some difficulty with them so hence new simulation? wth??

   hey is it possible to sue for emotional damages because we cannot concentrate on our next exam and end up failing? i dunno. im just thinking out loud.

   I wish they were more transparent.
   I mean, a little message could pop out after we click 'Done' at the end of the exam saying: "by the way, you were tested on a new simulation and your score will be released in the blackout month".
   At least we know right away. This is just cruel.

   @ Jen2250 - Congrats!! I am so jealous!

   I was feeding the dogs this morning and checked the CBA and nothing. Same status screen I have had since the day I took the test.

   I think I was pushed into wave 2. I just really really hope that it is because I am borderline and not because of a new sim. It would be tragic to wait that long to find out that even if you aced the new sim you still failed!!! I didn't feel all that great leaving the testing center so it makes me fear the worst even more.

   I also have BEC on the 30th. I'm finishing up B2 tonight (I hate demand/supply curves) and hopefuly power through B3. This waiting is just killing me!

    Haha, just a funny story. I was trying to explain to the CPA's at my firm (all of them took the paper test not the CBT), how the test is scored, the waves, etc. Everyone's eyes basically glazed over. Although they said that it took 4 months for them to get their scores back then so I don't feel so bad but still.

    If your spouse/siginificant other needs to get some sleep, explain the grading/score release process to them.

    any of you still waiting for AUD score? i know i know. i am the only one.. i almost shoot myself when i found out my AUD score is still not up after the release of #2 batch.

    Any chance on getting a #3 batch? i don't know. AUD is my last exam. the wait is driving me crazy

    @CACPA - I completely feel you on the wait. I've almost gone against my no twitter rule in order to get the NASBA feed/tweet/whatever they call it just to get the scores released. I know they post it here but I'm bordering on insanity here!

    @jen2250 - No prob, I felt the exact same way you felt. Although I think I did well on the sims, I thought I did horrible on the multiple choice. From reading this forum the better you do the harder the questions get in the next section. Not sure if that is true but I thought the multiple choice was really hard (heh, actually the whole test).

    On facebook Jeff said that he expects 1,000 FAR scores to be released with the first batch of REG so those of us who haven't gotten it cross your fingers (sorry CACPA I didn't see anything about AUD).

    Ok, I just called NASBA as a last resort, because I cannot study for BEC and I made up something.
    I spoke to a very nice lady with a STRONG southern accent (love it!) and after I gave her my name she did say that my FAR score was released yesterday.
    Not all scores have been transmitted to the CA BOA yet, that's why so many californians haven't received it yet. She said within 24-48 hours on the CA BOA website, but obviously I'm checking every now and then (avg 1-2 minutes lol).
    I hope it gets released tonight because I really would love to sleep tonight, seriously!

    But hey, at least we're not all in wave2. That wave2 looked like a tsunami this morning!

    Has anyone considered just applying for a new NTS incase they failed? I'm pretty sure I did and I have a few sections to take and since the webpage says 6 or more weeks for an NTS I'm considering just applying and if I fail FAR my ATT will open up and I'll select it...if not I'll just choose BEC.

    @ italianCPA and others awaiting FAR. Check the CBA my score got released.

    @ calisteph6 - I have no idea how makeup NTS works but it looks like I am going to find out.

    I'm actually too embarrassed to say but let's say it was not good. Of course I did horrible in governmental which I thought I did. I did not even pass one part of the different sections under the grading report.

    Only good news is that my sims were comparable and my written communication was stronger.

    I was reading that FAR and AUD are the two tests that you want to finish this year. I have BEC next week but then I have REG and AUD next window. Should I get a new NTS and replace REG with FAR? I think they said BEC was the least affected and REG was the 2nd least affected for the 2011 changes. And unfortunately I have Becker so I would have to buy the 2011 review since they do not offer the 2011 guarantee that many of the other review courses offer.

    Oh well, atleast I know except how horrible I feel. This makes it doubly important I pass BEC. Atleast it is giving me determination.

    Congrats CACPA, I also got my FAR score this morning.

    After speaking with both the CBA and NASBA, I think I figured out how this works.
    The AICPA releases scores to NASBA only and then NASBA either sends them to the independent states or uploads them on its website for NASBA-states.
    Once the scores are sent, California automatically upload them (once a day at 5:30am-ish) in the candidate account pages, where we can see them.
    I think this time NASBA dropped the ball, since many CA scores weren't sent right away so we had some people getting their FAR scores on Tuesday morning (after AICPA released them on Monday) and a lot of people getting them today (like myself). Your AUD score was probably released among the 1808 AUD scores released by AICPA on Monday and it was delayed by one day, mine was in the first AUD release (on Friday) and I got it on Saturday morning.

    I'm not sure they have other scores.
    So far there has been only one FAR release. I would hope that all scores have been transmitted by NASBA.
    It could be that you fell in wave2. Did you call NASBA to ask if they had your score?

    caliSteph made a good point. hmm. if i dont hear anything by next week should I apply and pay the nonrefundable $50 fee (just in case) so i can get my NTS in time so i can at least a spot for the last window. I know once you pay the $200 or $300 fee that is not refundable, but i guess risking $50 is better than gambling on taking it in 2011? Thoughts?

    I would send in an app to be honest, I did today. My reasoning: If I fail- I have my app in progress, if I passed I will choose BEC and I will probably end up taking BEC either in Nov or Jan anyway, so I won't lose fees. We are lucky in CA to have 9 months.

    btw, where do you take your exams? Culver City?

    I take mine in Camarillo (by ventura), but they have very few seats and I might have to take it in the city one of these days. I've heard bad things about the glendale site though.

    i've taken exam in Culver City, Glendale and Camarillo so far. Glendale was good except I had to pay for parking (no biggie, but still thinking they should provide this?). Culver City, also great except the mens restroom had a broken key so that cost me mega minutes, so far camarillo is my fav, thats where im takin Reg next

    I tested in Gardena and Culver City so far. Gardena is not the best looking location (it shares with a hospital) and the 110 could be a huge bet, but parking was either free or they didn't catch that I wasn't an employee of the hospital :)
    Culver City was very convenient from where I live, nice parking, and I liked the fact that the bathrooms were outside so it was a nice chance to breath some fresh air!
    I'm taking BEC in San Diego (!!) on Tuesday. I had to reschedule (switching to BEC from REG) after I took AUD and nothing was available on 8/31 so late, only in San Diego. San Diego was available pretty much any day. Either noone takes tests down there, either it's a HUGE testing center.
