Can a college graduate apply for an internship?

This might be a silly question, but can someone who already completed college, apply for an internship? Is an internship restricted to only currently enrolled college students? Does it matter if its undergraduate or graduate-enrolled?

MM_CPA most firms want someone who is in school. Some will specify whether that person should be an undergraduate or a graduate student and some firms (although very few in my experience) will not care whether you are a student or not. I have a phone interview with a small local firm next week about an internship even though I graduated two years ago. You just need to find a firm that will be willing to take a non-student. Hope that helps.

I work for a smaller regional firm and we hire interns with a college degree. It actually probably gives you a leg up because if you do an intern the firm likes you, they will most likely extend an offer to you at the end of the internship.
