I have REG on Saturday. I didn’t start studying until about 3 weeks ago. Using Becker, I’ve been through R1 – R3, twice. I have R4 and R5 to go through a second time still. Second time through on R1 – R3 I was getting no less than 85%, without looking at the book. I feel pretty comfortable with the tax material.

Then, there is blaw. I’ve completed R6, but, not really. I think I got like a 40% on the homework my first time through and half assed it because I cant stand the material. I’ve done the R7 lectures, but haven’t touched the homework yet. Haven’t touched R8. Hate hate hate business law.

I’m running out of time. I can’t study at work. What can I do to understand the business law stuff in such a short amount of time. The terminology is awful. I MUST PASS.

Do you have Ninja Audio? Listen to Blaw on it whenever you can.

Can you push it out a couple of days?

I think its possible to pull it off by Saturday but would want to stack the odds as much in your favor as possible.

Yes, you can do it for sure. watch the lectures and do the homework. Even if you are getting them wrong, read through the entire answer explanation as to why you got it wrong. If you manage to sneak in a little more time, give it a read too. you have time, and you can do it if you believe so. Good luck.

Ok guys I have tonight, sneak study time at work tomorrow, and tomorrow night to wrap up my studying. I have absolutely no time to watch the R8 lectures.

I feel 100% confident on R1 – R5, the tax stuff and professional ethics and responsibilities. R6 – R8 is like a foreign language to me. Should I

    A) non-stop mcq's for R6 – R8 knowing that I'm going to get 75% of the questions wrong but just read the correct answers and try to understand why they are the correct answer, or

    B) run through the R6 – R8 flash cards until I have them down

If you feel you have a good grasp on Tax, you might have a shot since sims are usually just on tax.

That being said, Blaw comprises about 20% of the MC portion of the test. So you definitely need to at least review the key concepts and pass keys to give yourself a decent chance at a passing score.
