Can't decide which day to take AUD

I’ve been looking at the seat availability tool for AUD at my chosen test center and I can’t decide whether to take it on the 9th of August so I can get my score by the 21/22 or if I should give myself even more time and wait until after the 15th and get my score on the 8th/9th of September. I don’t want to put it off for too long, but I don’t get to study as much as I like so the extra time could be beneficial.

    Anyone have the same problem?

If we take the test on the last day of each wave, we get the shortest waiting period.

Here is the list of waiting period for each release date:

    W1 –> 14-15 days

    W2 –> 7-8 days

    W3 –> 9-10 days

So if you decide to take it on 8/14, you will only have to wait for only sweet 7 days, that is if your State is a NASBA State.

Waiting for each CPA result causes extreme stress to every candidate. So it's really important to consider many factors in scheduling/checking the calendars for score release dates.

Hmm Amor D that's some good info. I didn't look at it like that. NC is a NASBA state so only having to wait about 7 days is pretty good. I never considered taking it on a Thursday though. But I might just do that.

You should schedule your test based on when you think you will be ready to pass it. Finding out you passed on September 8th is better than finding out you didn't pass on Aug 21.

    FAR - 93 (YAY!!!!)
    REG - 93 (Double YAY!)
    BEC - 87 (Whew!)
    AUD - 96 (DONE!!!!!)

Definitely go with when you think you will be prepared. Unless you are running out of time there is no reason to be worried about that. I’m currently studying for AUD as well and scheduled for mid AUG, best of luck!

I think I might wait until the 23rd or so. I just have to wait for my NTS. I sent out my re-exam app last week so I might have just another week before I can schedule.

So how are you studying for the exam Blahh? I'm using the Ninja notes and MCQs. Haven't started reading the wiley book yet though.

Sorry for the extremely late reply AScott89 but I’m using Becker Self Study + Ninja Audio. So far I’m on A4 and while reading the material seems like a piece of cake but when it comes to the questions I freeze up. A month and some change left to finish the 3 chapters and review.

I take on the chapters section by section.

First I view the lectures (writing notes as discussed in the videos)

    Then read the chapter

Followed by the Homework multiple choice questions (I don’t do all the MCQs only a handful before jumping to next chapter)

I’ll be going through the questions as reviews in the last 2 weeks. Also I purchased the Wiley books so might skim those.

I really feel I’m behind right now even after being off for a few months from work.

    How’s your studying going?
