The only cure is just doing it … I struggle everyday. I have to finish the exams by November if I want to insure I don't lose REG. Even though I am half-way done and have that objective I still battle myself everyday.

#1 suggestion – Don't give yourself too much time to study (overall, not per day)
#2 suggestion – Stick to a plan of attack

Almost always from my phone... please excuse my typos!

You don't need to be “motivated” you just need to do it. I'm guessing you do plenty of things every day without waiting for motivation, from going to work to doing laundry to shoveling snow.

Being a CPA totally changed how clients perceive me. I just received my license officially less than a month ago and it is already night and day in terms of how people deal with me. Its awesome but also a little bit weird.

Thanks for the advice guys. Really didn't plan it too well with doing audit and BEC first. Nothing I can do now. Looks like I'll have to have some cold ones tonight to motivate me.

@beerhelpsmestudy I feel you about the order of the exams. I took FAR 3rd and Reg i'm studying now. I really wish I took FAR first and then moved on. It took me 3 tries until I finally passed FAR.

About being motivated, hop on youtube. Type in motivation quotes or something. That's what I do. I like to listen to Eric Thomas; his thing is all about wanting it as bad as you want to breath. A lot of the things said are things you already know but it's nice to hear it from someone else with that fancy background music. He also says something along the lines, “Don't cry to quit, cry to keep going.” Also talks about how we're able to sacrifice things for our favorite TV show but when it comes to studying we find excuses not to study. I also have a few songs that I like to listen to in order to pump me up. I'm literally typing this as I begin to review for REG and am procrastinating before I start. I'm about to hop on youtube and do what I mentioned above. It helps me. I also have above my study station quotes from people to me about this exam and even some forum posts people as reminders (study tips, motivation tips, etc).
