An HVAC unit is having issues and a tech comes out to troubleshoot the issue. He finds that the unit needs to be replaced so he orders a unit and replaces it. We get an invoice from the company that installed the unit. The hours to troubleshoot and the hours to replace the unit is itemized on the invoice. The hours to install the unit are capitalized but are the hours that were for troubleshooting the initial issue capitalized?
