I am currently 26 living in south Florida, have been at my current job since I finished undergrad.
I have a masters in accounting and just got my CPA.
At my job I basically do everything accounting wise since it is not a large company. ( budget, financial statements, variance reports, and even A/R and A/P)
Started at 36k a year out of college, have worked my way up to 45k in 3 years.
My boss is going to give me a raise I just don’t know how much. What do you think I may be worth? Is 60-65k asking for too much? I’ve asked recruiters and they say I can get a job paying 70-75k, but I do love my current job ( very comfortable with everyone and I am def on the path to becoming CFO once we grow , which we are exponentially) I am willing to take 60-65, just wondering if anyone has seen such a giant bump in pay when receiving a CPA?
Maybe some managers here who have seen something like this and can put some input?
Anything will be appreciated, thank you!
