Hello fellow ninjas! Here I am, still reviewing at 2am and every time I get to this time of the evening, my mind starts to wander so I have to take a break, read different topics, or google anything that popped in my head. Anyway, I have questions regarding this CPA journey.

    1. I already passed 2 sections in the CPA exam, planning to take the next section in January then if I passed the 3rd I’m planning to start applying for jobs in public accounting. However, I read some posts here that usually they hire on fall so I’m not sure if January/February is a good timing to apply in public accounting firms. I don’t have any experience in tax/audit here in US, so in case I got hired, I know it’s busy season by then, do you think I will be able to cope with the workload or if somebody will train me (if needed) or I’m on my own since everybody will be busy?

    2. I have part-time job online doing various accounting services and one of my client is a CPA from Colorado. I am doing different projects for him for more than 2 years now, mostly bookkeeping services. I am from VA, do you think the time I worked for him and the services I provided to him can be counted as working experience for CPA requirements?

    3. I’m from Philippines and never attended school here in US so far. I was allowed to sit for the exam without taking any additional course/units in accounting. However, I’m wondering if I will still need to attend school to meet the 150 semester hours requirements. If yes, how long do you think it will take to meet that goal?

Any tips/advice will be greatly appreciated.
