I was listening to Yeager lecture (i think it was 9a part 1) last night.

Phil said that you dont have to memorize all those deductions/additions of decreases and increases in different acconts in order to adjsut from CASH to ACCRUAL. You jsut need to do a JE and plug the missing element there.

However, he specifically said that when you go from ACCRUAL to CASH you CANNOT use the plug-in method, because (according to him) it woudnt work there!

But every time i try it in ACCRUAL to CASH problem – it magically works! Am I doing something wrong or he was simply incorrect? Im really confused….

Please someone clarify this for me…

    THANKS AS USUAL!

I had to convince myself not to get hung up on any specific comments made by certain instructors. If you understand the concept, and can work through the problems in practice, then go with it. FAR has way too much information to get caught up on whether a certain method will or will not work according to your instructor 🙂
