How long after passing your last part can you expect to be officially licensed?

Our value does not come from our skills and abilities, as good as they may be; it does not come from our GPA, our job, a promotion from that job to a better job, our success on the CPA exam, or anything of the like; but our value comes from the fact that we have a Creator who loves us, cares for us, and desires to help us navigate the rough waters of this life in a way that provides security, hope, and true, everlasting joy while we anticipate the life to come, with Him.

It took me 3 months, and I hustled. Finished ethics 1 week after my last score release, and submitted my application along with Livescan 1-2 days after that. This is in Cali for what it's worth.

    AUD: 83
    FAR: 77
    REG: 86
    BEC: 86

What state are you in? Whether NASBA or non-NASBA will affect things a lot (non-NASBA is quicker usually, since the state already has your results), as well as the specific state.

I didn't hustle due to delays getting up with the person who was signing off on my experience, so it was 2 months from when I got my last score notification till when I was licensed; however, in KY (non-NASBA), it could have been within a month if I'd been on top of things.

I took my last exam on 02/27 and received my license number on 03/23 after submitting everything on 03/17. Some states take months until applications are reviewed but Virginia (my state) reviews applications as they come in.

Has anyone from the February testing period received their “Congratulatory Letter” yet? I'm in MA where this is necessary to submit your application.

Greg you may want to double check because its been a few years since I got my license in MA but you shouldn't need to wait for the congratulatory letter. You can get the application on the MA board's website and complete it.

I received mine the same day I got my license, and it was subject to two mail forwards. I think you probably should have gotten it already.

I just received my license # today! Final grade was released on 3/10/15, I had to wait to receive my application, mailed everything in that Monday, and they received it on 3/19/15. My number was issued on 4/1/15 and I received it today via email. I paid my fee and my certificate will be issued tomorrow. So, Texas can take less than 1 month if you have all your ducks in a row.

    CPA EXAM: DONE!!!!
    Ethics Course: Passed
    Application Mailed: 3/16/15
    Professional Conduct Exam: 97
    Certification Date: 4/2/15!!!
