Has anyone taken this exam? How is it compared to the CPA exam? And is it worth getting? Any insight is much appreciated.

I've worked in the financial sector for 6 years and never heard of this certification. I think that should answer your question.

The only professonal certifications that I have encountered in industry (related to accounting/finance) are: CPA, CFA, CMA, and CFP.

All of these require the 3 E's, Education, Experience, and Examination.

I honestly wouldn't bother pursing anything outside of these unless it is required for your job function (series 7, etc.).

    Hope this helps…

Interesting. It is just one exam. I am in favor of it combined with a CPA license ,if you want to break in into the financial services role.

You could use it to market yourself to the Big 4 , emphasising your focus and path you want to take.

    Then again just my opinion.
