I recently received my score breakdown from AUD. I got a 68 on the exam, but the breakdown doesn’t make sense. I received 3 comparable and 1 stronger on 6 of the sections and they determined that my multiple choice was weaker? How is that?

    AUD - 96
    BEC - 79
    FAR - 75
    REG - 89

PASSED IN 2015 - ALL WITH NINJACPAREVIEW

    FAR - 73, 75 PASSED
    AUD - 74, 96
    BEC - 79
    REG - 89! Done. I'm a CPA!!

It is probably because score reports are a total waste of paper. Don't worry about what it says. Don't worry about where you were weaker or stronger. Study for your retake as if you had never seen any of the information before.

It's the AICPA that is responsible for your score, not NASBA. They just deliver the info. But if I'm reading this correctly, it means you did weaker in 2/6 of the areas. That's around a third of the MCQs. It's completely plausible that you did substantially weaker in those areas, enough to offset the stronger and comparables and get you down to a 68.

Keep your chin up and jump back on the horse!

I had one exam report where I was weaker in everything- literally every category. My score? 73.

Pay the score reports no mind. Study everything the second time around.
