I know that the Audit portion of the exam has changed since 2012 (I think) and I know that REG always requires new materials. However, for BEC and FARE, would I be safe using the 2012 Becker Materials that I own? Please let me know. Thanks.

Using outdated material is surefire way to see a 74 when scores are released. Get the Ninjas 10 point combo WTB and Wiley Book for 2014.

Yes, I agree with Kricket. I used 2012 for FAR last month and scored weak on government accounting (where I scored stronger 13 months earlier).

I agree to get updated materials for FAR, but I don't think it's necessary for BEC. I used 2011 materials in 2013 and passed. The business concepts and ratios aren't going to change much. I also found that I can google “BEC changes” or “BEC Updates” and get most of the new info free online without having to shell out for a new book. I also used 2011 materials for AUD in 2013, but I did buy the ninja notes to get all the updated information and I used the WTB. I did not buy an updated book.
