I could watch this video over and over.

This lady knows EXACTLY how the entire accounting financials work. It's one thing to teach but it is another to have such a deep understanding of how things function.

Cindy is simply the best prepared instructor ever. Everyone can take their lead from her.

Cindy is awesome! I spent so much time listening to Cindy that I told my sisters that I had a new girlfriend and her name was Cindy. They believed me!

Cindy is also the best in BEC.

Cindy is the reason I scored well on BEC. She is also the reason I purchased FAR from YAGER.

She presents the information in just the right way.

I know Cindy is good but listening and looking at her is a torture to me. She always repeats her stupid jokes and laughs at them. Like: Choose "a" if it is the right answer etc over and over again.. Sometimes I cannot stand her a minute longer. I know, however, that this torture will help me pass. Like Peter Olinto says: the more miserable you are the better chances you will pass. So thank you Cindy for making my life miserable!

I know what you mean. Sometimes it is hard to focus on the message when the messenger distracts you.

I love Cindy and her style is perfect for me, however some of these other people make me want to shoot the computer.

One guy is always saying “Now” during each question. Like he is working the problem for the first time right there on the video.

Cindy is always prepared, has a direction she is taking you and everything is tied together.

The others should take note.

@FARBehind... isn't it pathetic when accounting professors attempt to joke around and it's painful to listen to??? I've experienced it in College, in Becker, in Yeager reviews... lol

The 2011 Yaeger Reviews, Module 15a. I just feel so bad for Cindy. I feel like she has so much to say and to contribute to us as CPA candidates. She really should just teach all of FARE. No offense to Phil, but he is better as a businessman.

My opinion:

Cindy is my favorite and the best of all instructors for serious stuff like FAR and BEC, .. I like her jokes too
Phil Yeager is my favorite for REG (he is simply the best)
Tim Gaerty I like him for AUD which is my favorite subject of all time
Olinto is good for Jokes and enthusiasm only ..

Phil Yaeger was horrible for FAR, does Phil say the words "alright" and "now" a hundred times in BEC like he does in FAR? I like Cindy and Gary from Yaeger, but Phil just makes it harder with all of his lost train of thought and distracting wordiness in his instruction.

I love Cindy, and I think I have a crush on Gary...he made me love Govt and NFP Accounting.
I was looking forward to having him for Audit, but I found Garland and my husband loved to listen in on Garland`s lectures (he is a banker ...does not care about auditing) and I had to have ...Garland, because he has such a cute Southern accent . Did anybody listen to Garland Granger ?
About Phil...he had a magic mnemonic ,guaranteed to work on sections(he wrote it down during the FAR Cram ) : RTFQ !!!
Many of my troubles still come from reading the question wrong , so I will always remember his wise advice.

@lauramaria, I used Lambers for Audit section so I know what you r talking about Garland. I like him too because he used simple words to explain the whole audit cycle.

@FARbehind- I agree. She is a great FAR instructor, but she does get a bit annoying with her jokes. It's one of the reasons why I like Gary Bulmash better. He's a no nonsense instructor and is serious in what he teaches. A lot of people don't care for that style, but I like it.

I love Cindy. I once had a dream about her. She was at her usual spot in front of the whiteboard, she bent down to pick up her dry-erase marker and I said, "Cindy! Why do you keep on dropping your pens and markers in your videos?" She didn't answer, it will forever be a mystery I guess. Did I mention that she was wearing a leather leotard and cracking a whip?

SMOOTHCPA you are not wrapped tight, funny as hell, but not wrapped tight. When I passed BEC it was because Cindy would call my house at 9:00 at night and tutor me until I got it right. She is awesome!!

you're wasting your money if you take her with BEC.. completely useless all she does is read from the book.. okay with variances.

She didn't waste my money. I went from a 72 to an 82 thanks to Cindy. But that goes to prove what works for one person may not work for another. Just my. 02 worth.

@ kricket - do you know what exactly it was about the videos that made your score go up? I just finished her 3rd BEC lecture, and noticed she's mostly reading from the book (at least so far...). Thanks!

I wish I could pinpoint one thing but I really cant. If I had to name something I would say her explaining how to create the PV tables. The review course I had prior to Yeager never mentioned needing to know how to do it. I am taking a shot in the dark here, but maybe she is reading more now than she did before is because she is teaching more of the course. How many instructors do they have for BEC? There used to be three.

I haven't gotten to PV tables yet, so it sounds like I should keep watching. Cindy is really good at explaining things and I really liked her for FAR. I don't mind an instructor reading from the book if they elaborate on what they're reading, but I haven't seen that yet. But like I said, I have only finished Corporate Governance, IT and Econ. Guess I'll keep plugging along. Thanks for your help!

Oh, and I thought Cindy taught all of BEC? I have the 2012 version...
