    Hi guys!

I just passed four sections of the exams. Now I am planning to apply for CPA license in CO. I am not US citizen and finished my bachelor degree outside US. But I have already finished my Mater degree in Accountancy in US. When I applied for the CPA exam, I had my international transcript and degree evaluated. Do i still need to had those same things evaluated again to apply for license? I absolutely have enough 150 credit hours and more than 6 of my master courses related to auditing which focus on US GAAS. Any body can help me with this question.

I can tell you for sure. CO will need your transcripts evaluated. They want evaluation done via NIES ( Nasba International Evaluation Srevices.) ONLY. It has to be done. They only look at the evaluation and determine your deficiency after looking that the evaluation.

Get evaluation done ASAP. In the meantime you can download the licensure form and fill out and send it in to CO.

    For CO https://nasba.org/licensure/nasbalicensing/colorado/ :

“Applicants who obtained their education outside the United States must:

Have the educational credentials evaluated by one of the organizations listed below:

    NASBA International Evaluation Services (NIES)

    – Any member organization of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc. (NACES).

    – Any member organization of the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (AICE).”

And probably you had sent already your transcripts evaluated by one of these members in order to sit for the exam and now you need to resend the same evaluation when you apply for license.
