Does anyone know how long it takes to receive this letter after you pass the exam?

I was curious about this as well since I just finished the exam. This is what I found on NASBA's website.

    Congratulatory Letters

If you tested through jurisdictions represented by CPA Examination Services (CPAES) – except Alaska and Florida – you will receive a congratulatory letter from CPAES upon passing the entire CPA Examination. This letter will provide you with further instructions on how to obtain your license, per your Board’s qualifications. All other candidates will receive additional instruction regarding the licensure application process directly from their Board of Accountancy.

Letters mailed by CPAES will be sent to you by the following dates:

    January/February testing window: April 1

    April/May testing window: July 1

    July/August testing window: October 1

    October/November testing window: January 1

This applies to the following jurisdictions.

    Alaska Iowa Montana Puerto Rico

    Colorado Kansas Nebraska Rhode Island

Connecticut Louisiana New Hampshire South Carolina

    Delaware Maine New Jersey Tennessee

    Florida Massachusetts New Mexico Utah

    Georgia Michigan New York Vermont

    Hawaii Minnesota Ohio Washington

    Indiana Missouri Pennsylvania Wisconsin

    REG - 78
    BEC - 74, 67, 69, 69, 70, 79
    FAR - 76
    AUD - 69, 69, 69, 74, 85

    Hi,

I just passed as well. Check with your state accounting board, but in Ohio you can apply for the license without it. Nasba will send your scores and transcripts to your state board. I already applied and had my fingerprinting and background check done. Do it as fast as they will allow you to, most state boards send out certificates only once per month (Ohio the 15th of every month).
