Does anybody know how long it takes to receive the Congratulatory Letter and Application for the CPA License? I just passed all four parts and I live in NJ.

I read on some other forums that some people have received them in 2 weeks to 2 months from the date of their final score release. I know you can download the application from the Internet, but I would like to wait for the Congratulatory letter so I know that the scores have officially been sent to the board of accountancy.

    FAR 82
    BEC 82
    AUD 93
    REG 87

Not sure about NJ but in MA you can download the forms from the state website and there's no need to wait for the letter (actually if I recall the letter didn't include the forms anyway just gave the URL for them)

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

I live in GA and received my congratulatory letter (which is framed) about three weeks after finding out I passed my last section. Once I applied for my license, it took about three weeks for them to issue me a license.

    Good luck!

I downloaded the application from the State Board's website after I woke up the next morning with a the hangover to beat all hangovers. I had it in the mail long before I got the letter.

For most NASBA states, they notify your state board on the 1st of the month following quarter end (i.e. April 1 for people who passed their last exam in Q1). I took my last exam in April last year, received my score in May, and my state board was notified July 1.
