I thought i might get your guys opinion on something. When i started at the company i am at i hadnt completed my degree yet but inquired about working in the auditing dept. i was told that they hire CPAs or people who have almost earned their CPA.
I since finished my degree and god willing will be done with my CPA and experience requirement by the end of the year.
In my current position I have gained a lot of expertise and exposure that has positioned myself well to shift into internal auditing.
A position just opened and it would be a roughly 45% increase in pay, but after talking with the internal auditor who is being replaced who is a friend he thinks i would fit well in the position but that the personalities in the dept are challenging. He says people are very competitive, heavily introverted, and not keen on helping others.
I am quite an introvert myself ans honestly dont mind going to work and talking to others minimally.
Should I be concerned? Or should I go for it?
I am thinking I want to go for it, but wanted to see what you guys thought.
