It all depends on your learning style so I definitely recommend trying out some demos. I am currently studying with Roger CPA Review and love him because he teaches the concepts as if you've never learned this stuff before. Again check out some of his videos to see if you like his teaching style. I also bought the NINJA 10pt combo to supplement, which helped out a lot. If you do go with either Roger or Becker I highly recommend you looking into the 10pt combo or at the very least the NINJA MCQs to use as an additional test bank. I have yet to find out my FAR score but I felt like both prepared me well, didn't feel like questions came out of left field so if I failed it's strictly on me…

Biggest piece of advice? If you're going to buy the lectures, make sure you're going to use them. They are not cheap by any stretch of the truth, and I found them to be a huge waste of money (aside from AUD, because I actually liked that instructor). Be completely honest with yourself – if you know you aren't going to sit down and listen to someone teach you, find a good set of books (Jeff's got some Ninja ones coming out – I think FAR and BEC so far), some supplemental materials, a good test bank or two, and go from there.

I've used Becker for all my exams but I wish I had gotten Roger instead. Becker's lectures are very bland and boring as compared to Roger. I've seen only the Youtube videos of Roger and I can only imagine how awesome his other videos would be.

Apart from that, if you've a good base and recently graduated from college. I'd suggest to give the Ninja Book, Blitz, TB, notes and audio a try. It's by far (pun intended) the cheapest route you can take for FAR. The Ninja book for FAR is already out and I think it would be enough to pass the exam, especially when supplemented with the rest of the Ninja material. I hope this helps and Good luck! Also good call on tackling either REG or FAR as your first exam, something I should have done too but was not aware of this forum to get good advice.
