CPA CELEBRATE….what did you do or going to do when pass????

    BEC is my last exam and I find out next week. Hopefully it is a pass. I’ve booked a hotel in Chicago next Sat. My wife and I are staying at the Knickerbocker on the mag mile. We are going to eat at Joe’s Seafood and Steak.

    Anybody been there? and what are your passing plans?

    Years ago my brother and I bought bottles of the red Crown Royal XR because it was limited and now they don't sell it anymore. I always told myself that if I ever passed the CPA exam I would open it and drink it with family and friends. At that time my first attempt was an embarrassing failure so passing the exam was just a pipe dream. When I finally did pass I decided I wanted to save it for something more important like the birth of a child or a child's wedding or something like that. My celebration was kind of dull. It was mainly just cigars and whiskey with my brother and stepdad.

    I am planning on buying a very expensive bottle of champagne. Also some sort of vacation will be involved, a very family-friendly one to thank my children for putting up with mom while she was studying. 🙂

    In the same boat. Waiting for my BEC score next week. I am not really a paint-the-town kind of person, so I probably will just do drinks and dinner with a few friends. My boyfriend is on temporary military duty until the end of May, so I can't celebrate with him yet, but we are planning a vacation in June to celebrate both my passing the exam and his return from duty.

    I don't know … If I pass, since its Cinco and its a big day for my Company (I am a controller for a mex rest.) I will go out and maybe have one more margarita than I should … but won't be able to properly celebrate until Memorial day weekend … Too many relatives visiting in the next few weeks

    I plan to travel yettttttt that lingering feeling when you do not know if you passed or not your last cpa exam ……. sigh. crossing fingers for all of us who are on the way 🙂 that golden 75!!!

    I'm hoping to be DONE come June 9th. My birthday is June 7th and I'm going to get a hotel room in Boston, bring the girlfriend and the bros and have ourselves a celebration.
