I wanted to start a thread for all those that plan to graduate from the CPA Exam in 2012. What sections are you taking, when, and what is your plan?

I will go first. I failed AUD in Nov. 2011. Funny thing is that I told myself that if I fail it would be because of this and this and sure enough, my score report proved me right.

I am taking AUD and BEC in the first quarter. I have noticed that I do best when I am in study mode so I plan to study for both sections simultaneously. Whenever I take a break in between tests, it takes a while for me to gear back up or I just lack motivation. I am using Gleim for both and starting from scratch. I perform better through self-study by reading, taking notes, and doing multiple choice questions. Lectures are good but not my cup of tea.

Here’s to passing in 2012. Now off the forums and back to studying!

I hope to graduate from the CPA exam in 2012. I too failed AUD, my first exam, last October. I am taking BEC and REG in the first quarter. I am confident about BEC, but I am worried about REG. I am forced to take it before March and I don't think I'll have enough time to study. Oh well, it is what it is. Hope we become graduates this year!! Good luck! 🙂

Im taking REG at the beginning of January. It was rescheduledfrom November due to server issues at prometric.

Then on to my Audit retake, which I'm planning to take in the same month. If so I will have all of February to tackle FAR, but a month may or may not be enough time so I'm gonna see how the studying goes but wait to schedule the exam until I either know I'm ready in February or need to wait until April.

I really want to be done by April and beccome part of the Class of 2012!

I'm taking REG in mid-January. I've been trying to study for a week now, but couldn't really focus, because of the missing BEC score.

So far, I like the material. It's much more interesting than AUD.

I'm not sure if the time would be enough. Will see 🙂

Class of 2012!!! I will be retaking AUD on 01/29, I may try to push it up a week to 01/22 according to how studies are going. Then REG retake on 02/26/11. Then last FAR around end of April/early May. Hopefully they will be all passes and I will be done..

I'm in!! Planning to take Reg (retake) on 01.16 and then BEC (retake) on 02.25. FAR late May and praying to be done by summer. Using Yaeger home study, yaeger audio (for work), Wiley online test bank, Ninja notes and the Wiley app on my Iphone for questions. Here's to hoping that in 2012 I finally conquer this quest!!!
