Thanks for reposting this, Jeff. I don't retake FAR until the end of the month, but it is good motivation for me to keep pushing. I need to tackle my weak areas. I can do this.

I want to bump this. I felt awful after not passing REG, but I owned up to it and it really helped this time around.

I really need some encouragement. This was my last section and I got the dreaded 74. I just can't believe it. Now I have to study over the holidays, into busy season…I just feel crushed. But I'm trying to tell myself that it's just a stupid test, that at least I didn't lose any sections, and that I came close. I just need to put more effort in this time and take it again in 2015. Just so disappointed…

You can do this. You've passed the other 3 and came so close with REG.

When I failed FAR, I let myself be depressed for the day. The very next day though, I was back with a vengeance. Failing motivated me more than anything else.

Failure stings, but giving up will sting a hell of a lot worse.

@ Jeff…Do you think taking BEC in 3 weeks or reviewing FAR for two months and retaking in January is better? Received a 72 in FAR this AM. Any assistance is appreciated.

    AUD - 90
    BEC - 87
    REG - TBD

Take your shot at BEC in 3 wks. It's a better use of time. Then go at FAR again. You were close enough that you should only need about 50 more hrs of studying (if you're the type that loves logging your hrs) on the areas you were weak on. Don't take 2 months to recover the crap you already know.

I know I'm not Jeff, but I just feel like throwing my hat in the ring bc I'm not doing anything else right now.

    Peace. Fire Will Muschamp.

Thanks @Rocky123….I have the belief, it's just regaining the motivation. I need to get mad.

I'm thinking about retaking REG in early January, because I start to get really busy at work after that and I don't think I need more time. Honestly, if I could take it again at the end of November, I totally would.

Probably gonna be miserable for the rest of the week and not resume studying until this weekend….does that seem like a good idea? I honestly don't know if I can start again tonight.

Take the day off. Sometimes you just need the day to wallow and get over it.

As far as the weekend, it's up to you. I started again the very next day. I was mad and the only way to get over it was to attack the material.

It really sucks, believe me, but you can't change the past. Move on and kick some REG butt!!
