CPA Exam no show and retake

I have a CPA exam coming up this month but I decided to cancel and not take it. Canceling costs me $35 so I was wondering if I could have a no show and reapply in Jan 2016. Will this work out? Will having a no show block me from taking the exam for a certain period of time?
