I just email with Bill the contact at Result Watch and they are currently testing a new version that you don't have to download. This will get rid of a lot of the email configuration problems. I am looking forward to having my scores emailed to me tomorrow and going forward!! Thanks Jeff!!

offlineMemberI debated on getting it but with 3 exams left, I think it was totally worth the $9.95.
It took me a while to get it set up because I am an idiot when it comes to computer stuff but they were VERY helpful and got me connected.

offlineMemberpromethius - Most (maybe all?) cell phone carriers today provide an email address that shows as an SMS text. For example, my carrier is Sprint and my SMS address is 407#######@messaging.sprintpcs.com. I was looking into how to do exactly what you described when I found this. There is one catch, right now a notification from Result Watch is approx. 550 characters. So you will either get just the first part, or a few text messages with parts of the original message.

onlineadminFellow recent Mac convert here (iMac). Result Watch is currently windows only.
Yaeger switched its cram format this year to cater to Mac people via .FLV.

Yeah, I did see that with the Yaeger. That is an aspect that I like a lot about Yaeger. Their DVDs are also playable in my DVD player, which helps too. Yaeger recognizes their clientele base much better than their competitors. I have an old PC without internet access that I use for my Becker and Wiley 15.0 software as well, but it won't help me with the Result Watch.

offlineMemberIf resultswatch gets enough buyers and takes off, they should consider a smartphone version (blackberry?) as well. It'd be nicer to have on the phone with me rather than have it running on the PC at home.
Works OK though as it can e-mail and I get that on my phone right away :-)

offlineMemberA Server based version is in development/testing right now. Basically, you will log in to the Result Watch site and enter your section info. The server does the rest and will email you when your score shows up. A few Result Watch customers have been kind enough to provide their info to me for testing. So far things are looking very good.

offlineMemberIf you have Result Watch on your computer, be sure to leave Result Watch up and your computer on for it to work. I didn't get my score on my Blackberry via e-mail until I turned my computer on at work today.

I tried to get this thing to work with three different email venues. Result watch tech was not helpful. I tried with Yahoo - was told (by result watch) that you have to pay extra for Yahoo Plus to get smtp server. I tried with Gmail - still didn't work, tried with Hotmail and still didn't work. I am very disappointed with the product and with the result watch tech people. Still have the product, but no email capabilities.
