(Nam)T-minus 32 days ;)
(supervisor)If I finish an exam at 5:30PM on Saturday, 01/19, when will the AICPA get it for score release purposes?
@FTZ you will most likely be in the first wave.
Is it February 5th yet!? :)
I'm counting down until the 4th. 28 days!!
Also in Wave 1 - took a FAR retake this past Friday. Fingers crossed!!
Took REG round 2 on Saturday. Hopefully Feb 5th will be a historic day for me!!
(Go_Frogs88)A small part of me wants to be that annoying person who counts down all of the days to score release.....

I am extremely nervous about this release :/ I had a ton of personal family issues going on while trying to study for BEC and just didn't devote the time and energy I should have to the exam. I'm hoping I can squeak by with a 75!!
i hate this thread ..:-''''''''''(
@Nam, looks like you have one hell of a date for Valentine's day.
and i am super scared -- :-( :-(
Good luck nimmie with you last exam - soon to be a cpa ...:D
Slow day at work.

They say 2/5 release, and it's usually the day before; 2/4 is my half-birthday.
Pretty please CPA gods...how about a passing score on FAR for my half-birthday!!!
already sick to stomach thinking about the possibility of taking BEC again...........
@k917: OMG, when I was a kid, my grandma would always give my brother and I a present for our half-birthday and my friends thought I was crazy! You are the first person in years I've heard talk about a half-birthday. That's awesome, I hope you get your half-birthday wish!!
@Keely Thanks! I'm a little old for being excited about half-birthdays, but for some reason I always enjoy the thought of it being my half-birthday. My mom would make us a special breakfast for our half-birthdays when we were young. I'm glad I'm not the only one out there who pays attention to it!!
The timeline says February 5th but if we count 11 business day after day 20, it is February 4th which means release would be Friday, February 1st????
the 21st is a monday holiday. it is unclear whether or not the AICPA offices are open that day. Based off of the AICPA's schedule I would assume they are closed, so 11 business days is the 5th. We should expect the release to begin the 4th.
24 Days
There are 3 people on my audit team, including me, who will receive FAR scores on the same day. Hope it's a lucky day for the team!!
Preparing for round two of FAR 2/22/13 any suggestions on how to preparation for second time around:
FAR - Failed 11/2012
BEC - Completed 8/2012
REG - Completed 2/2012
Aud - Completed 5/2012
Study everything again. My first attempt and my second attempt were totally different tests. Things that I had a lot of the first time, I had not much the second time, and vice versa.
I passed the CPA exam in 2008, BEC 91, AUD 94, REG 93, FAR 89. Two days ago I found out that I also passed the November 2012 CFP exam. There isn't a board like this for the CFP exam so I thought I would post here. The exam is 10 hours and I am as excited about passing it I was the CPA exam. I think the information is invaluable and I would definitely recommend anyone interested in tax and financial planning to consider pursuing the CFP certification.
3 weeks to go....arg, this is torture
I agree. Every time I think about it, and how long we have to wait, I get this tight feeling in my chest and my stomach turns over! I can't imagine having to study for FAR again! I feel my prep for Audit is going well, but there are definitely nights where it is hard to concentrate on Audit when FAR is still looming over me, like a ghost or something.
This is going to be painful three weeks. I would have refused to take another exam at the beginning of the window, except that my NTS expired on the day I took the test, so I couldn't wait any longer.
I hear ya. At least my busy season is starting to rev up so I will be so buried in work that I will barely be able to focus on my score coming. Please let these next 3 weeks go quickly and end painlessly
Ugh, 3 weeks. Seems so long!!!
WHYYYY is it taking so long to score the exams!!! I can't stand this wait, especially to find out my last exam score!
20 days.... 0=-)
