For me, it doesn't matter whether it is a Friday, Thursday or Monday!!! I am going to be F5ing it from a week before!!! Never stop waiting for a miracle of earlier than scheduled releases!!!

I have no problem F5-ing until it is the actual NINJA score release day and then I am terrified to hit the key! What if there is a score there that I do not want?!? And I think that this score release will be even worse (for me anyway) because it is potentially my LAST score release! Honestly, that hardly seems possible but apparently it is.

    How to strategize?

If I fail an exam should I take a break from the section and start studying for a new section since my test date is already scheduled for the new section?

Also, which review course do you suggest?

    thanks

Just paid for my last two exams – thought I'd squeeze both into Q3 and go score release crazy, but it looks like it's going to be one in each of Q3 and Q4. Regardless, could (should) be done by mid-October. Aaahhhhhh this all of a sudden got very, very real….

    ildiko,

If you don't pass a section then taking a break is the worst mistake. It's sort of like not cutting your grass for 1 month and all you have is an electric lawnmower. It's best to start studying for the section that you didn't pass as soon as possible – while everything is still fresh. It'll be much easier.

Regarding review courses. That depends on how you learn. I recommend checking out the demos for the following:

    Becker

    Roger

    Yeager

    Good luck!

If I am (technically) working towards my CPA in state X but sat for an exam in state Y (an indie state) which state will report my score? Anyone know?

    FAR-78
    AUD-89
    REG-88
    BEC-85

    Done!!

The state you are registered with.

I am in California… so if I took it in Minnesota, it will report the next day after score release because that's how CA works. Prometric is just one entity broken down into 500 offices (or whatever).

    AUD: 84
    REG: 84
    BEC: 79
    FAR: 83

Did anyone's score appear to update already for an exam taken in July? I took my AUD on July 11th, and it appears that my score is updated, with the same score that I got the last two tries, but I'm confused. It says “date received: 2014-07-11” which is what worries me. Please help. I can't wait for this to be over….argh.

    FAR: 84
    BEC: 88
REG: 33 (winged it, bad plan), 77
    AUD: 72 ,72, 81 FINALLY DONE!!!!!!

Are you using your old NTS? You must be bc it shouldn't show you a date at all.

I don't quite know what you mean by “are you using your old NTS.” I don't use my NTS for anything on the site, I just log into the NASBA site and on my front page, it has all the scores and dates for the exams I have taken. It says “date received” and “most recent score,” but the reason I'm confused is because I JUST took the exam last week so I don't know how it's possible to have posted yet. Also, it's the same score as the last two times I took the exam, so it's not out of this world to me that I would score a 72 a third time. I'm just being extra anxious and hyper because this is potentialy my last wait for a score!!!

Valerie, mine is the same way. I saw the updated date on CPA Central with the old score, had a momentary heart attack, and realized they just haven't updated the score. I don't like the new CPA Central at all.

^^ Thanks…..I am sure you know exactly how I feel right now looking at your scores. It's potentially your last wait too isn't it. 🙂 Just make it be August 4th already!!!!

This is the website I go to. It normally updates here before you will see it through your normal login.
