hey jeff in the last paragraph i think you mean "they are predictions..."
Hey Jeff - first of all i love the sight.
Question - for BEC, since there is no sims and i took the exam on Jan 5th, does that mean I am definitely in wave 1?
February 19 seems like a million years from now.
MPoni123 - thank you! - I appreciate that.
airhol2 - most likely Wave 1, yes.
CPAWannaBe - terrible wait, I know...been there.
I have never been in Wave 2 when I tested in the first month. Waiting on my last score is killing me!
So are these the advisory scores that come out on that predicted date?
Only a few states like CA use "advisory scores".
The AICPA score release date is followed by CA, IL, etc...then NASBA.
NASBA's score predictions are when the scores will upload to the NASBA.org site.
Did I answer your question?

I sure hope that I am in Wave 1 for AUD...I'd really like to know my score before I go in for BEC on 2/22!
At least I have the resultswatch (or whatever it's called) software this time around. I bought it to get my REG score after the site bogged in Q4's wave 2 release. Totally worth the $9.99!
C'mon 75 on 2/17! I am shooting for the 300 club! :D
Thanks Jeff. I am in CA, and I was at a Meet the Firms event last night, and someone told me that the advisory scores come out about 3 weeks or so after you have tested, so I was just wondering. I took my exam Jan 8, so hopefully I should get an advisory score soon.
You won't get any sort of advisory score until the AICPA releases scores...fyi.
ok thanks. the anticipation is a killer
yep - it's the worst part of the entire process.
I think January has been the looooooooooooooooooonest month of my entire life and I still have more than half of February to go.
yeah...been there :(
PLS HELP!!! Jeff or anybody else , pls do you guys know the best cpa review flashcards???? do i buy becker flashcards or CPA Excel or any others. All advice will be kindly appreciated......................thanks in advance
Hey Jeff.. I am taking BEC on Saturday, Feb. 6th. Do you think I have a chance of being in wave 1? I know you said Friday, Feb 5th in your prediction, but BEC does not have simulations, and you've always said by the 7th is eligible for wave 1.
kt - Feb 6th should be ok for Wave 1...I picked Friday just to be safe for scheduling purposes, but if you don't get your BEC score in Wave 1, I'll be surprised.

Hi Jeff - Do you think the "blizzard" weather conditions will affect the score release process? I read somewhere that the grading process happens in NJ. I'm very excited for REG, and would much appreciate receiving my score before my 34th birthday, Feb 20th. It's my last part and I have been down a LONG road...(I date back to the "pencil and paper").
11/01 - ARE, 81; AUD, 76 (expired 11/06)
10/06 - FAR, 76 (expired 4/08)
8/09 - FAR, 84; 10/09 - AUD, 86; 11/09 - BEC, 79
2/5/2010 - REG
And by the way, I love this website!!
lovemyGSP = Georges St. Pierre?
If the blizzard affects scores, NASBA will likely get an e-mail about it and they usually pass it onto me.
I had the good fortune of getting to know Joanne Vician at the IL Board of Examiners who used to give me the scoop. Prior to her retirement, she introduced me to the right people at NASBA who have been gracious with passing down information.
We'll see...
Yes, we'll see, I will be glued to the screen now!
lovemyGSP = German Shorthaired Pointer
ahh...Georges St. Pierre is my favorite UFC fighter...thought maybe you were a fan too :)
So just curious how many of you check the NASBA site a few times a day knowing the AICPA has not released the scores?? I am just trying to gauge how crazy I am compared to the rest of the cpa taking population.
Jeff love the forum - its like a mini therapy session while on break at work!
I'm totally checking the NASBA site already!
Meeeee tooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll admit... I've checked my state's site a few times. I'm trying hard not though. I'm having my friend do it for me because the two times she checked before me, I passed! Last time I checked it first and didn't pass by ONE point. We all need a good luck charm like her to check our scores for us haha. She's getting just as insane as me due to the wait haha.
You NASBA states people are lucky. I am stuck waiting on the Texas board to release their stuff each time. It sucks knowing they've had the scores in their grubby hands for 2-3 days and they still won't give it up.
I know they say they have no intentions of giving any type of preliminary score but I still put it in the comments every test anyways. They are just being stubborn and don't want to give in what everyone wants at this point. There is no reason on BEC why you couldn't have an immediate score. Even the others are almost all computer gradable. I think its part of the shared suffering we must all endure.
Ha ha ha, i'm so glad I'm not the only one who is checking my state's website already!!!!!! This wait is killing me!!
Dale - in fairness...it's the AICPA who won't allow a raw BEC score to be released.
You should all move to Nevada! I feel like we are pretty fast in getting scores after it is released by the AICPA :)
