Any idea when VA is going to release AUD scores, found out BEC, now waiting on AUD.

My guess is that the AICPA doesn't release the AUD scores until September 25th which means maybe we'll see scores from NASBA on the 28th.
In the REG posts, someone just posted that they just talked to NASBA, and it is confirmed that AICPA will release audit scores next week.
I am with everyone else. I am useless at work. Completely non-chargable. Unable to focus on studying for my next part.
I need my AUD score!
Release em Already, I wish you would be optimistic :(!
I am just trying to manage my own expectations. This waiting game is crazy!
Just got an e-mail from Jeff ---
AICPA just released REG.
NASBA is still having IT issues...BEC may not come out
tonight...they're still working on it.
Any idea of when AICPA may release Audit now that REG has been released?
The earliest would be Monday or Tuesday, but remember AUD was last in Wave 1 in this test window. You just never know. I am waiting on AUD taken 8/26 but at least it will not be the 70+ day wait I had when I failed with a 73 in April. Good Luck I with you on the wait.
Anyone know if AUD will be released by AICPA on Monday? Did NASBA get their IT issue fixed?? I hope they were working on it all weekend!!
NASBA working on weekends? ahaha!
it's just your dream! Thay have nothing to do just upload on Sunday.
Dok101, Anita, and other anxious, restless, frustrated folks,
Don't diss NASBA staff unless you know what's going on there. Those folks put in many hours trying to make it right. Weekends, nights, long days. Just like you.
Let's say a client doesn't get exactly what he expects from you based on his assumptions about your workload, skills, attitude, etc. Should he assume you are incompetent? I don't think so.
NO! I am not a NASBA or AICPA staff member. I just know how it works. Both organizations understand that many candidates' primary concerns/frustrations are about speeding up the scoring process. They are working on that goal. The scoring process will improve but only when it will not jeopardize the integrity of the exam.
I hope all of you waiting on scores will get good news. And those who don't will not give up your goal of attaining one of the world's premier credentials. I truly wish you the best.
It was an attempt at levity. Give me a break.
Ex ED, no one here is trying to be disrespectful to NASBA. The process of waiting for scores, and the lack of transparency about scoring methods and timing is incredibly frustrating. The results have a substantial impact on our lives, and having to wait so long is no fun! I'm happy to hear you say that they are working on a way to speed up the process... a revamp of the process is clearly needed! Until then, the rest of us will continue making comments about the annoying wait time, as it helps us to cope with this crazy process. :-)
Well said Jenben. I didn't mean any disrespect at all, I just figured if they had an IT problem at SUCH a critical time, wouldn't they be putting in the extra time to get it fixed. Surely we can't all wait until OCTOBER for our scores! I'm sure they are doing their best to get it fixed. :) In the meantime, I'm a crazy woman!
Respond to Ex ED:
There are always hard working, responsible people within the org. But in this case I was talking about NASBA as a whole. If they can not fix problems in a good time frame, why they can not either send an email with our scores or at least give them out via the phone. This is very critical for all of us. We need to plan our steps for futher exams and study prep.
Also to ExEd, I, for one, disagree that they are working nights and weekends to get the problem resolved. If anyone remembers, they also had technical issues in the last reporting wave, and the one before that. I find it strange, that the NASBA organization only has 32 times a year that it has to shine (4 exam score releases * 8 months), and they seem to fail a majority of the time. They even get four months off to work "so hard" on these issues, but it seems they don't, but I also wouldn't place all of the blame on NASBA. I think there is something fishy with the AICPA as well...I mean just look at Jeff's interview with them, they claim that there is no curving, but then they say there is pscyhmetric analysis done on some exams. So all in all, the process is shady.
Waiting is so frustrating! I'm from PA and waiting on both BEC and AUD. Has anyone else from PA heard yet about either of those two? AHHH! Release them already!!
I am also from PA. Wondering when we can expect the AICPA to release audit scores...
per NASBA's twitter, not released this morning.
Follow NASBA on twitter. They release that information as soon as they get it.
Now that the BEC/REG scoring issues have been resolved, the score release mill will continue.
I'm getting nervous/excited.
I'm getting impatient. It is my last section, and I just want the score. With my luck, they'll mess with the order again like they did last wave and put FAR ahead of AUD. I have a salary meeting this week, and I want to be done to use the CPA exam as leverage.
Anyone from IA get their score yet? I took AUD Aug. 8th....missed Wave 1 cutoff by 1 day. I am starting to go crazy. I try to tell myself what's the hurry I have others to focus on but I am getting caught up now that I am reading everyone's messages!
CanDoIt - AICPA has not released Audit yet, so no one has received scores yet. No worries, you will know when they are out. ;-)
Almost 4:00!! Praying for AICPA AUD release!
I'm with you....how do you know 4:00? I looked at the NASBA Twitter and didn't see much there. I feel like even though everyone thinks they know. No one really knows....I am exhausted due to the anticipation.
I should have said how do you know they should release it at 4:00?
well, they just released 1,000+ more REG scores, so I doubt our chances of getting AUD today are good.
I just looked at Twitter again and it looks like the AICPA hasn't released AUD to NASBA yet. Then it takes 24-48 hours for them to post scores for us. Do I understand this right or am I making things up??? I think I am done watching for today....
you are understanding it correctly, basically if we're waiting on AUD, our life continues to SUCK.
In Washington, awaiting first section taken AUD score. Since WA does not release through NASBA, do we have to wait for results in the mail? Or, will we receive an email letting us know the score is available online through Castle? If the latter, how long will it take for scores to be released through that site after released by AICPA? Thanks!
I am in Wasnington too. The scores are posted online at Castle's website. You can login here: https://www.castleworldwide.com/wboa/application-login.asp. I don't know how many hours/days they release them after the AICPA releases them though.
I can't take it anymore I just want to know so I can move on with my life
Thanks, I have been logging in to Castle continuously hoping for scores. But, think I will stop for the day since they have not yet been released by the AICPA. Ughhh.
Hello everyone! I'm a first time poster (as a matter of fact I just found this website about 20 minutes ago). I took AUD 8/15 in Texas. It was my first section, first attempt, and subsequently this is my first time to wait for results.
My question is: How will I be informed? Sorry if this is discussed elsewhere on the forum, but I was just looking for a topic with current activity. Thanks!!
in TX, from what I understand, they update their website at 3am, and you will receive an e-mail when your score is available. You can usually guage your receipt time by the NASBA release, but not always.
AND, while I love this site, your sanity is going to leave you now that you have found all of us crazies........
Thanks for the info and the heads up! Between my 2 girls, my wife, and my habit of drinking too much southern comfort I imagine our craziness will co-mingle nicely. In other words; I'm fluent in insanity!
3am? It's gonna be a long night!
oh, sorry, AUD will not be out at 3am tonight though. The process is AICPA reads all of our funny posts and waits until we're about to be committed and then releases the scores to the states and NASBA. Then NASBA, spends some more time reading our antics and decides when we've had enough and posts the scores, and Texas is usually the same day or a day later than NASBA (from what I understand, I'm not in TX, so I don't know for sure). SO, no need to look tonight, because they haven't released our scores yet. ;-(
Thanks! I'll try to continue being patient.
