To rhiania80:
I started with sitting for becker fastpass – passively listened through the course (within 1 week,). Didn't do any
homewoek. Then, for about 3 weeks, about 4 hours per day I was redoing the course on Becker cd's(they give them to us when we take live courses) in the following manner: listen part of lecture – do homework, listen second part – do homework. Then after lecture is complete – do supplemental questions. Did all I got wrong once again after I finished all lectures. Looked thru sims ; did both of Becker final exams – got low 60's – freaked out. Purchased final review for all parts. It brought my Becker sample final exam scores to low seventies. Took exam and found that I overestimated cost accounting and underestimated IT.
Passed. Did same exact thing for auditing – we will see if it worked, tonight…
In my opinion – listening to the whole lecture is a waste. It must be broken by small parts and studied by smaller topics. I remember listening to variances page for 5 times… Hope it helps, sorry if it seems scattered – I'm not a very organized person. PM me if you need more tips – I'll be happy to help.
