baijukb, you're hilarious

baijukb, you're hilarious
As horrible as the test was, the worst part is waiting for your score. Thanks Jeff for keeping us somewhat sane. Uh, if you consider getting up in the middle of the night just to check your score sane. LOL!!!
Confirmed: The AICPA has NOT released scores yet. ETA - today after 5pm Eastern.
Jeff, thanks for clearing that up!
shao4ye4,
I used to get up 3x a night to check...2am...3:30...4:30am...it sucked! I would have dreams that I scored a 29 and I'd dart to the laptop to find out...and then I got the same error screen and stumbled back to bed disgusted with myself.
Jeff
Thanks for your update. Another 3 hrs, thats fine.
Jeff - I am assuming delay in BEC - pushes everything back to some extent? Thanks, Anastasia
Thank you Jeff! we are just tired to wait. Espesially this is my last one ( i am preying for 75555555555555555)
I would assume that each release date will be pushed back an average of 1-2 days, with a few coming out back-to-back days.
How long does a Virginia (or other state that does not use the NASBA system) resident wait for the score?
Immediatley upon AICPA release?
Varies state-to-state?
Same time as NASBA?
NAsba statea are usually 1-2 days, good luck
Hey, when the AICPA releases the scores, where is everyone checking to get theirs? The AICPA website? NASBA? I've only been able to check mine at the Texas State Board website and they only update once a day at 3a.m. That makes for some sleepless nights!
Virginia releases quickly after the AICPA release - and before NASBA
Jeff, with your confirmation were you able to get an idea of whether or not the rest of your predictions would hold or if they would be releasing AUD second this time? I just want to know that I'm done with the exam. I've done a good job of not thinking about it the last three weeks, but now the misery of waiting has begun.
Swiss - I really don't know about that...I kind of pick and choose when I bug them :)
My guess is that everything will be 1-2 days off...FAR has come out second before, but is usually last. Something like that would screw everything up predictions-wise.
I'm new to this and waiting on my first score (BEC) - Any info on when MA might get their scores on the NASBA site? Thanks!
@Boston0381 - NASBA states don't get their scores posted until at least a day after AICPA releases the scores to them. So everyone here is anxiously awaiting Jeff's announcment that the scores have been released by the AICPA. When you see that announcement, expect to see your scores on the NASBA site within 24-48 hours.
MA via NASBA most likely by Friday - *possibly* Thursday night...scores come out via NASBA between 8pm and 9pm Eastern.
Thank you ... the wait continues!
NY usally takes 2 day later to post from experience, right?
Hi Jeff, do you know how long Maryland usually takes after the aicpa releases? Thx!
NY is NASBA, so yes - 1 to 2 days...I don't really know anything about Maryland, actually...they're not one of the first indies to report if I recall...
thanks, i'll let you know when Maryland posts!
FYI...WI will not release scores online until all scores are received. Better off waiting for the snail mail.
What about non-NASBA states? Do they release scores faster than NASBA states?
depends on the state. some are very quick like IL, VA, CA, some are very slow.
I really do not want to go through another night much less another weekend of not knowing!!! This wait is killing me!!!!! I feel like a child wanting to throw a temper tantrum but I know if I do that I'll get sent to my room with no dessert. UGH!!!
Haha, me too Kricket!
Hey Kricket! I hear you! It's my husband's b-day this weekend and I SOOO was hoping we'd have two reasons to celebrate, but with me waiting on REG - I have a feeling it may not happen until Monday!!! Doesn't stop me from refreshing of course :)! Hang in there, Anastasia
Hi. I like this forum and enjoy reading other people's comments.
I took BEC in August for my first time!
Do you know if Maine is slow or not? Thank you!
K1 - Maine is a NASBA state so you are waiting with me! BEC is always the first to come out so that is come comfort. Anastasia, I would go out and celebrate as if you passed it with a 95!!! Enjoy yourself!!!
I want my score and I want my Sara Lee Cheesecake NOW! Sorry ;( tantrum over.
I wonder if NASBA can see how many hits there "score" webpage gets from all the anxiety-ridden, finger nail biting accountants who click submit every 5 minutes? I cant decide if I should be ready to pee my pants in excitment or bring out the aloe infused tissue papper and a sippy cup for a cry-fest 2009. Seriously though - there is nothing subjective to score on this test - I really wish they would consider the score releases a little diff. for BEC.

Hello Jeff
Is it that AICPA will release at 5 pm or any time after 5 pm.
I took it to mean no earlier than 5pm.
The ETA is after 5pm...the AICPA has a track record of releasing around 5:30pm Eastern
Anastasia, mine is today! When I saw Jeff's predictions I thought "how sweet a birthday present would that be?" - getting my last score and being done. Alas, it's not to be. What a bunch of knuckleheads over at the AICPA.
Jeff, have you considered setting up a "best of" or "hall of fame" for the all-time best rants in the forum from frustrated candidates? There are some good ones out there...
But that doesn't mean anything if we still have to wait for our states or NASBA to release them to us, right? I'm in CA and I normally see them update in the morning. Thank goodness there's some good TV on tonight. I need something to take my mind off of this!
A friend of mine joked that she thinks during score release time the AICPA sits around a dart board and when they get a bullseye they release a set of scores.
Jeff- Would this mean that if the AICPA releases tonight that CA will not see their scores until tomorrow morning? I thought this was automatically posted on the CA site.
"Anastasia, mine is today! When I saw Jeff's predictions I thought "how sweet a birthday present would that be?" - getting my last score and being done. Alas, it's not to be. What a bunch of knuckleheads over at the AICPA."
Happy b-day! Super cool people are born in September... :) Sorry you have to wait!
So Jeff - it's 5:01 and you said after five.. Are we there yet? Totally kidding...sorry
what state are you in, Anastasia?
Have they ever released two sections at once? I'm waiting for REG too and I can't take any more anticipation!
Hey Anita - I am in MO (NASBA) - and actually waiting on REG, but following BEC log to keep my sanity (meanionce BEC comes out I'll have some hope for REG to come out sometime in this century - LOL)
I am NY,good luck, I see it is your last exam too.
They're out - 10,455 BEC scores were just released by the AICPA...
Anastasia - I'm doing the same thing pretty much. I'm waiting for FAR but following this forum to keep my insanity. I would LOVE FAR to come out 2nd this time around. Not gonna happen cause that's how things go for me, but it would be nice.
Thank you, Jeff
Same here, FAR is my last part.
Any idea on when we should expect CA to release the BEC scores?
CA may be tomorrow
Jeff,
So should we expect REG to be released on Friday?
Thanks Jeff.
Thank you. So I assume NASBA should have them loaded by tomorrow?
hopefully tomorrow
Thanks so much Jeff! Unfortunately I'm in NC which is a snail mail state and will have to wait another week before they get them turned around and mailed. But at least I know progress is being made now!
Love the site and appreciate you keeping us crazy candidates informed. :)
Hi Jeff:
When you say 10,455 BEC scores were released by AICPA - does that 10,455 represent almost all (except for wave 2 1/2) who sat for BEC in July/August Wave 2?
Thanks!
Hi Jeff, that means NASBA releases our score by tomorrow for all states. I am in MA.
Very close to 100% of the Wave 1 and Wave 2 people will have their BEC scores...there will be a few Wave 2.5 - but they're very minimal.
NASBA should have them out tomorrow night or Friday night (8-9pm Eastern if it's going to happen that night) at the latest...they do a good job of getting a quick turnaround.
still no score in IL
who got his score?
