I took FAR Nov 5 and I'm keeping my fingers crossed I find out in the first wave. There were two questions on my exam that I actually commented to the AICPA on because the answer choices just seemed off. I am worried that by commenting that will push me back into the second score release wave. Do you know anything about this? Or has anyone else out there commented on questions and still received scores in the first wave? Thanks for your help!

offlineadminThe NASBA tech issue has *no impact* on REG scores.
If REG gets released via AICPA today - REG is a good bet for Tuesday via NASBA.
I got to thinking about it...Thursday AICPA usually equals Monday NASBA...Friday AICPA = Tuesday NASBA

offlineMemberI wonder why Texas is the only independent state to have posted scores today.....what gives?
Historically MD scores have been posted to the website the morning after AICPA release. I called the dept of labor of MD and they were no help at all, no surprise. I was under the impression that they received the scores from AICPA and then post them. But the women informed me that they don't have scores nor do they play any role whatsoever in posting the scores and said its up to AICPA/NASBA.
So now I am wondering if I will receive my scores along with the NASBA states......(either 9pm tonight or the dreaded Monday)
Anybody have an idea of how the Tek issues affect the independent states?

offlineMemberI am in Oklahoma which is listed as independent on here, and I had a similar experience. The people at the state board said they have no control over it either and that if I check my scores online through the state board website I will know before they do. Which leads me to believe that NASBA somehow posts directly to their site? I think it will get to us tonight, I hope.

offlineadminNH isn't out yet...it's a NASBA state.
If you go to the NASBA score site...click on a state...then click on Scores...
If there is a place to enter your info - NASBA releases your score at the same time they release all other NASBA state scores...they don't do them piecemeal...it's all at once.
If there isn't a place to enter your info...go to your state board of acctg to get your score.

offlineMemberYeah in MD they do email you. I am not sure of the time lag between when scores are posted and when the email is sent. So I have still been checking the scores even without the email.
This whole time I was under the impression MD was independent and I would have my scores quicker then the NASBA states and I would avoid tek issues. Its starting to sound like MD and OK have to wait for the NASBA release (not the AICPA) and the only difference is that the scores are posted on the state website as opposed to the NASBA website....big deal....
I guess that means I can stop refreshing for now......at least until 9pm tonight...

All I know is that MD (which is listed as independent) will email the candidate telling them the scores are up.......Then you have to go to the state site to see your score.
What I was saying is that although MD is listed as independent (can't fill out login info on NASBA site) it seems to be held up by the NASBA tek issues.....
