It was open to all states on prometrics website for about 4 hours earlier today. They blacked it out again as soon as all Texas residents were reassigned.

Has NASBA made an announcement? I can't find anything. I see prometric is available for a couple days at my center in June but not for the day I would like (yet) so I'm wanting confirmation of the window extension before I ask for more time off from work.

Once the Prometric opens a schedule, (I bet) it's authorized by NASBA. The State Board might not be even aware of it. Just go to Prometric to reschedule and see if you can find any openings just like I did.

An extra week to study for me, an actual Houston resident! WOO HOO! Can anyone confirm for sure that this is legit? The schedule opened up at Prometric for an extra week…but I have yet to read anything about it.

@Rip808: I couldn't find anything posted anywhere about this either. I won't be concerned about it being legit once I have the test date actually rescheduled with Prometric. Since the ideal day and time isn't available at my testing center at the moment, I plan on staking it out and re-checking until a spot opens up. Sometimes this doesn't happen until a couple days before that date, but something always does open up. I just don't want to find out that Prometric is operating differently during this period and it doesn't allow me to sign up for anything when it gets closer to the 9th.
