So I’m using the Wiley Test Bank. How different is the scorebuilder. It’s confusing why Wiley has two different products that seem like the same thing. Although, it seems that the scorebuilder has way more questions!? Has anyone used both of these? Which one do you like better?

I found it mentioned on their website saying it comes with all CPAExcel classes, but I have never seen anything in my software and I've upgraded my software recently too.

Hi all we'll clear this up. Just give me minute to cross-check a few points.

I can tell you that anyone who buys CPAexcelcourse” gets the MCQ practice questions as part of the course. The “ScoreBuilder” was just a stand-alone product for folks who wanted to buy a la carte. But the product roadmap is in flux as we integrate product offerings and practice questions.

Back in a bit with more.

The Scorebuilder is the EQ Tutor and TBS Tutor on the upper left of the menu (before the lessons / table of contents and under the Discussions). It is just the practice MCQs and Sims.

I like the view/layout of the Scorebuilder more than the Wiley TB; it is more like the actual CPA exam format. However, it is not as easy to set up practice quizzes and does not keep records of your individual quizzes. It only shows the last quiz/exam. Also, it's like Wiley TB in pop quiz mode in that you do not see the correct answer after the question.

    CPA exam: Done!

    Thank You, Lord.

ScoreBuilder was rolled out by CPAexcel as a MCQ/Sims supplement product … it's $115 per part – $460 complete and includes:
    – 4,831 AICPA Exam questions with full rationales
    – 275 Task-Based Simulations
    – 2,900 electronic flash cards
    – Performance Metrics: Links between exams, results, rationales, and overall performance

ScoreBuilder is the same user interface as the full CPAexcel product but with video and all the other course features removed. Hope that helps.
