Hey All – I’m finally about to get licensed and am wondering what, of the MANY different choices available, people like to use to get CPE. Who tends to be your favorite providers/sponsors? Are there any I should stay clear from? A quick google search makes it seem like CPE link, AICPA CPA express, Becker, Bisk and so many others.

I know that public accounting takes care of their own in this, but I’m now in industry so am curious as to the best CPE quality-wise. My company will reimburse me the cost, so the cost doesn’t have to be the absolute lowest although I’m sure they’d notice if I was spending big bucks on this too. How much do you and/or your company spend annually for your CPE?

I don't need to do CPE yet but I've been doing some webinars that qualify for CPE to increase my own knowledge. These are free and generally only an hour to hour & half. Go to the websites of the Big4 and you can signup for alerts and webinars and can specify industry, topics, etc. You can easily do one or two a month and get quite a bit of CPE done while your at work. Plus this will keep your total CPE cost down while allowing you to maybe splurge a bit on some other CPE classes.
