Cram courses after failing….

Ok, I need some advice. I failed FAR a few months ago with a 73. I failed REG last month with a 68 and I just found out today I failed BEC with a 70. (after I walked out I thought I had done really well on this one…WRONG!). I’m not trying to jump around, but I was sick of looking at FAR (that was my 2nd attempt) so I moved on to REG and while waiting for my REG score, I had already started studying for BEC.

My question is this. My Becker license expires this Friday. I’m contemplating purchasing the Roger Cram Course for these three sections. My hope is that hearing and seeing the material in a different way will help to re-enforce some of the material I’ve seen before, and maybe provide new insight on items I’m obviously missing. Also, I’d like to get these done in the next testing window. Any ideas or thoughts on someone who has done this? Good plan? Bad plan? Your thoughts on Roger. Any help is much appreciated. I’m SOOOO frustrated right now….but I’m come to far to give up!

    Reg - 79
    Bec - 78
    Far - 75 and I am DONE!!!

I would recommend sticking with BEC since you just took it and come close with a 70. Focus on getting BEC finished and don't' rush through it to try to cram 3 exams in the next window. You are better off taking your time and passing one or two exams in the next window than rushing to try to take three exams and not feeling adequately prepared for any of them (my assumption based on prior experience.) Personally, I think 3 in one window is too much to get through the material and prepare properly. I haven't used Roger so I can't give advice there. I used Becker (didn't like) and then switched to Gleim and Ninja notes. Good luck!

I passed 3 parts on the first try with Roger Cram – loved it; took me 6 months though. I don't think you can adequately prepare for 3 parts in one testing window.

Ficpa, how do you like the Gleim? I've not looked into it much. I'm currently studying for Reg so I'm hoping to sit for it the first of October. I did well in the business law sections, but was weaker in the corporate tax so I'm going over everything again but focusing on that section.

I was hoping to take it Oct 1st and and retake bec at the end of Oct and possibly FAR the end of Nov. I may push far off until the next window though. I think one problem I had before is i spent TOO MUCH time studying for them. I spent a couple of months on each previously.

How many weeks per section did it take you with the Roger Cram?

Thank you all so much for your input. You don't know how valuable it is to me right now!
