Credit Expiration and Closing of Testing Window

    My REG credit expires 2/22/14 if I do not pass AUD. Is it possible to still schedule an exam before this testing window closes (given it takes several days for application, payment coupon, and NTS as well as the fact that it expires on a Saturday)?

    In my experience the entire process from application to NTS takes anywhere from 3 to 6 days.

    Or do I just wait until 3/1/14 rolls around and reschedule both REG and AUD?

    It the former is possible, I will study REG as soon as I get my AUD score and sit for it the last day of the window.

    First, there should be no talk of not passing AUD! If you go in with the attitude that you will fail, then guess what, you will fail. Work your a$$ off and go pass AUD. Then all of this is a moot point. Get mad if you have to. Get even. GO GET YOUR LIFE BACK! If you are worried about a credit expiring then you have been on this train for a while. It's time to get your ticket punched and get off the slow train ride through hell.

    @Kricket

    I took AUD on 1/16 with the attitude that I WILL pass.

    However, I am the type of person who feels more comfortable with a backup plan. This way, IF the worst happens and I fail, I will have a plan in place and not collapse into a sobbing heap when I see the score (I've been on this journey long enough to know how that feels!)

    I really like your train analogy πŸ™‚

    If you're asking can you take the same exam twice in one testing window, no you can't. If you took AUD in Q1, the very soonest you can retake it is Q2.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

    Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

    Oh, the post was confusing at best. I think you'd have to wait for April to take REG.

    Do you feel super terrible about AUD? As in would bet a body part you failed? Because that's a pretty sure sign of a pass.
