Less than 3 days left before I take Reg. I took today (Friday) off work to study and ended up having a nightmare about studying and slept in until almost noon 🙁 Any last minute study tips or tricks before the exam? What do you all do in your final days to prepare? Tips on how to reduce stress/anxiety?

For the last couple of days you just need to do nonstop MCQs. If you get a few questions you don’t understand at all, don’t freak out, take a few minutes or an hour to figure them out. Figure out what areas you’re weak in and, again, take a little while to figure it out or practice it. Use the day before your exam to relax and get your mind right, you’re going to need to be fresh come exam time.

As for the anxiety, just breathe and remember this exam is just another challenge along the way. I always like to think of taking an exam as a reward for all the studying I’ve done because, if I pass, I’m 25% closer to becoming a CPA and all the hard work is paying off.

    Goodluck!

Thank you for the response! I felt really really good about the exam and due to quarter end close didn't study for the last 2-3 days. I just browsed through the Becker book and there's so much in there that I do not know and am starting to freak out. I spent almost the last month straight on Ninja MCQ's and ditched the becker material. Hoping Becker just has way more info than we need for the real exam.

That'd how I've been for all 3 of my exams so far. I start off using Gleim to read the text, watch the lectures, etc. then jump to Ninja MCQ and Ninja Notes for the last few weeks of review.

Do you find Ninja MCQ to be harder or similar to real questions? My main issue is the sims I either get 100% or under 50% on them and a lot of it is due to the instructions being confusing as to what they are asking.

For all 3 exams both Ninja MCQs and Ninja SIMs were more difficult/ more wordy than the exam questions in my opinion.

Cut it off the afternoon before your exam. At 4:00pm the day before, have a nice dinner, relax and go to bed early.
REG wasn’t so bad, and I was surprised at how many tables and rates that were provided.

There will be a few questions that will be out of nowhere, but if you are well rested you will guess correctly and get some nice high point questions.

    Good luck!
