I went to Colorado State University in Ft Collins…Go Rams!

Now I need to get credits toward my hours requirements and I also need to to be in a degree program or my short-sighted employer won’t reimburse me. I really wanted to go to UCLA extension because they are so affordable but my company wouldn’t reimburse me so I had to find an alternative.

If you want 100% online at a really top university, you should check out CSU-Global. I am honestly not trying to do a commercial for them but they have a ton of online classes that will transfer to anywhere in the country and you will not have to worry about about transfer. A 3 credit course is only about $1,000.

A lot of the schools I was looking at like LSU, UCLA, Peru all were okay but offered limited accounting courses or I couldn’t get into a degree program. CSU has a ton of accounting degrees, including three Principles of Accounting level courses that are considered upper division courses. I think some states only recognize upper division accounting classes if you are tyring to qualify for your exams or for licensure so this is kind of nice.

Hopefully I can get enrolled without too many hassles but it doesn’t look like they make you jump through a ton of hoops to get started. I think I am going to try to do that CPA Excel through Northern Alabama and transfer it to CSU Global so my company will pay for it.
