    I took FAR and BEC on October and November accordingly and failed both with really low score. 50 and 53…

    I quit my job back in May to focus on this exam and now i feel like i’m stupid and useless..

    I scheduled AUD on January and feel like i never going to pass any section.

    First, you are not stupid and useless. These exams are hard! If they weren't then they wouldn't have a 50% average pass rate. Second, I think you need to pick one exam and focus on it until you pass. Third, you may need to reevaluate your study materials and methods. Maybe your study materials weren't the right fit for you. Maybe you focused too much on your strong areas instead of your weak ones because it gave you confidence. Maybe you need to branch out your study materials to supplemental materials to aid in your preparation. Can you give us a breakdown on how you studied for each part with amount of time, etc. so we can help devise a plan for your retakes?

    @CPAMommyof3

    I used Becker for review, wiley exam review (multiple questions) and Ninja MCQ. I tried to study at least 5 hours per day except Saturday and Sunday.

    I listened to whole Becker lecture first and tried wiley and Ninja MCQ.

    Thank you so much in advance for your advice..

    @chongeelae I know how you feel. It sucks to fail and I know that feeling of feeling stupid but please don't feel that way. It's ok to wallow in your misery for a day but you have to pick yourself up and keep going. I agree with CPAMommy that it's best to figure out what your studying style is and look into the NINJA products as supplemental material, if you can. Hopefully others can chime in with advice. Good luck and trust in yourself that you can do this.

    FAR - (11/01/14) 71 (02/07/15) 79
    AUD - (04/30/15) 86
    BEC - (07/21/15) 73 (10/01/15) 75
    REG - (11/30/15) 55 (05/19/16) 74

    @chongeelae–Is it possible that you would benefit more from reading the book than from watching lectures? Lectures don't do very much for me. I think the Wiley books are great because they break up the info into little sections and quiz you a little bit after each section. The Ninja MCQ were great for REG. They weren't out when I took FAR. The Ninja Audio was great for AUD and FAR. The Ninja notes for FAR were a great start to breaking the big sections into fact nuggets. FAR has a lot of material and adding your own notes to the Ninja notes would be essential. I converted the Ninja notes into a word document and typed my own notes in as I went along so that I had a comprehensive note set. I went through the MCQ by section and did all the questions for that section before I moved on. It really helps for you to get to the adaptive phase in Ninja where you let the test bank pick your questions for you so that they focus on your weak areas. I studied differently for each exam based on the complexity and depth of the material. One exam is like 3 or 4 college courses so you have to study at least 4 times as much as you would have for any college course. Since you are not working I would treat studying like a full time job. Take breaks when you need to, but make sure you have a study plan and you stick to it as much as possible. I hope that helps. I'm sure you'll get great advice from others on here. My methods may not work for you. The key is finding out how you study best and making sure that the time you spend studying is efficient and not just going through the motions. Good luck!

    I agree with cpa. I ditched the lectures because I found I was zoning out… Instead I would sit down and read the chapters in small chunks and google/YouTube/listen to the lecture if I had a problem grasping something

    chongeelae, if you are not working, how come you are not studying at least 8 hrs per day including weekends?

    My first pass was on my 6th or 7th attempt. There is no shame in having a score below 75. I've got plenty of them, 18 to be exact. Don't let this exam get to you. It is a bully and will kick you when you are down. You cant let it get to you and take you to a dark place. I've been there and it sucks! Keep your head high. Confidence is half the battle.

    Just in case you are wondering, there is NOTHING on my license that says how many exams I took or what I scored.
