Hey guys I just tried to reapply for an exam I recently took but did not get my official scores yet. I applied through the nasba website and the site me get all the way to the payment section. Does this mean that I failed the section? I took this section on July 3rd and it says there was an “application update” July 10th. Anyone else experience anything like this?

    BEC 3x 77 expires 1.30.16
    AUD 2x 80 expires 10.31.15
    REG 2x 86 expires 2.28.16
    FAR... 7-15 .. 48* .. 77

Scores won't be out for a while – are you applying to retake the same exam you just took? Or a different one? Regardless, I think the site will probably let you go all the way through no matter what you are applying for. Make sure you know which sections you are paying for – it would suck to lose money on a simple mistake….

I guess the question should be why are you applying before you get your score lol? To answer your question, that doesn't mean anything, it doesn't tell whether you passed or failed.

No, NASBA doesn't even have your score yet. AICPA may have it but they release them all to NASBA at the same time.

You can't reapply for a section until 48 hours after receiving a failing score. You'll have to wait until the scores are uploaded to NASBA + 48 hours before you can reapply.

Years ago there was a “‘back door” method that if you went in through the Illinois page and tried to re register for an exam, if you got through it meant you failed. This was very useful for people not in NASBA states who might have had to wait days after score release to get their results. But even when the back door worked, it wasn't until the day the AICPA released scores to NASBA.

^^That is interesting! I am so glad to be in a NASBA state. The wait is bad enough, but when everyone else is going through it too it doesn't seem so bad. I don't know what I would do if I saw everyone getting their scores and had to twiddle my thumbs for even longer after that. 🙁

Okay sounds good, I thought since it was letting me reapply for a new NTS number that meant I had failed but I guess the consensus is the AICPA has not yet given scores to NASBA so I should just wait and see what my actual score is… Its weird that they will let you reapply for a test that you have not yet gotten a score for yet.

I am experiencing the same thing!! I took my AUD exam on July 11th (5 days ago) and logged onto NASBA and it appears that my score is posted. I scored a 72 last time (two times in a row actually) and this was my third try on July 11th. It says score received “2014-07-11” most recent score “72.” Now….how am I supposed to know if I scored a 72 a third time in a row, or if the system is just being funny? 🙁

I took it 7-11, it says 7-13 received. Why are they torturing us making us wait til August? I sent a feedback email to cpaexam@nasba.org.

I could apply for audit again too, either I failed again, or they don't have the score, they just have the test lol.

Someone should email them and tell them “received date” and recent score is misleading lol.

Does yours say the same score as the last time you took it? Or does it say no score at all? I'm still panicking.

I know waiting is hard but you're barking up the wrong tree contacting NASBA. They release scores within 24 hours of getting them from the AICPA which is pretty impressive! It's the AICPA who's at the root of your misery and they're pretty sadistic so it's no use! https://www.aicpa.org/becomeacpa/cpaexam/psychometricsandscoring/scoringinformation/pages/faq2011scorerelease.aspx
