    Hello,

I failed my audit exam by 8 points. I want to try materials other than Becker. I am looking to buy a new exam material(s) for audit part. Is there a difference in type of questions in Wiley Exam Review Book vs. Wiley Test Bank? And, which one is better Wiley Exam Review Book vs. Ninja MCQ’s?

Wiley test bank and book tie it, they also tie in with the Ninja notes. Basically Modules match question sections. I did Becker for the other three sections and now trying the Wiley book since I can't match the Becker chapters to the WTB. How are you comparing the ninja test bank to the wiley book though?

    FAR - 71, 68, 74, (8/31/14) 78 ✔
    REG - 67, 71, 71, (10/18/14) 78 ✔
    BEC - (11/29/14) 86 ✔
    AUD - 73, (4/4/15) 86 ✔

I can't believe this is over! 2 years and 3 months..

From my own experience with FAR and AUD, I think Wiley Test Bank is pretty good. There was no surprise for me on the exam day. I would go with Wiley Test Bank.

    FAR: 80 02/01/2014
    AUD: 53,80 12/09/2014
    BEC: TBD
    REG: TBD

I used Wiley for AUD and FAR (Ninja wasn't out yet) and Ninja for REG. I prefer the way Ninja is set up. They have more MCQ, more practice SIMS, better textbook/information links and better reporting. It's also a heck of a lot cheaper than Wiley. I like the Wiley review books too. I read the Wiley book, worked the book questions, and then worked all the Ninja questions.

The bad thing about WTB is that you dont have a forum of about 200 people comparing their wiley test score to the actual exam. The ninja MC test bank has a thread comparing the two. Also, Becker's final exam has a thread comparing the final exam score with the actual one.

Actually Jeff was a Wiley dealer before he created the Ninja test bank less than a year ago. There are a lot of threads that compare Wiley verses actual. They just aren't sticky threads at the top of the forum and I'm not sure anyone has posted in them in a while because more people are buying Ninja.

I have Becker and from doing a lot more research now. I think I am going to get Ninja MCQ only because I want to know which parts I am doing better in and which parts I am doing weaker in. I am just trying to understand this “trending” thing everyone is talking about. I think I would like that. I have to wait to buy anything until after the holidays. I failed FAR with Becker and now I am working on AUD which I actually think Becker is a lot more helpful on, but I noticed AUD is what you failed using Becker so I am a little scared. I have the Wiley Book, but it is older so I don't know if I should use it for AUD since it is from 2009.

I think you could get by with a 2013 book for AUD, but definitely not a 2009. The success of a review course is dependent upon how you learn. Many have passed all 4 parts with Becker, with Roger, with Wiley, with CPAExcel, and most recently with Ninja. You have to figure out which materials suit your learning style. I personally used Kaplan lectures/book/testbank for BEC, Kaplan book/Wiley Test bank/Ninja notes/Ninja Audio for AUD, Wiley book/Wiley Test bank/Ninja Notes for FAR, Wiley book/Ninja Testbank/Becker flashcards/Ninja audio for REG.

Mamabear, you cant compare these old wiley threads that are 2 pages max with Ninja vs actual (10 pages) or Becker final vs actual (9 pages). If you want to have a good idea as to how you are doing compare to others and the real exam, then you will look at Becker's final or Ninja mc vs actual. It seems Wiley is not longer as popular since they changed their format and increase the price. I think the best test bank right now in Ninja.

    Hello everyone in this thread/discussion.

Thank you for all your responses. It looks like I will be going with Ninja MCQ's/10 Point Combo. I have read a lot of positive reviews. Hope I pass it on my next attempt.
