    Hey guys,

I’m getting registered in the District of Columbia and for my initial application I only paid for an NTS with two testing sections. The time has come for me to get a second NTS for the last two testing sections but I can’t figure out who I pay for a second NTS.

I called NASBA and they told me to contact DCBoA. Called DCBoA and left a message a few days ago with no response. DCBoA does applications through a third-party – Pearson VUE. So I decided to call Pearson VUE and they told me to contact DCBoA. Sent an email to DCBoA two days ago and have not gotten responses. Called DCBoA again this morning and got the same message.

Probably a long shot but does anyone have experience getting a second NTS from the District of Columbia?

If it involves DC you're probably out of luck and will never get an answer. This coming from a resident of Northern Virginia who never goes into DC anymore (as in I have not been to DC in probably 2 years) and somehow got a parking ticket in DC recently. I appealed, explained the situation, and their response, “Um, just pay half I guess.”

I'd go through Virginia, or anybody else other than DC.

    BEC - 78
    AUD - 75
    REG - 74, 79
    FAR - 75

You have to buy a ticket to win the raffle.

No experience with DC, but because I like random research questions and I help with licensing at work, it looks like you go through the Pulse Portal https://www.pulseportal.com/ and apply for reexamination. The last page of this tells you what you need to supply (yes on photos, no on transcripts, for example): https://www.asisvcs.com/publications/pdf/670990.pdf

You may need this form, although you might just do this online instead: https://www.asisvcs.com/publications/pdf/680919.pdf

Re-exam doesn't mean you're doing a retake, just that it's not your first time applying to test.

Yeah I live in Arlington but DC has less strict education requirements to sit for the exam so I started their while I finished my coursework. I got slow responses from VABOA too but nothing as bad as DC. Probably just super understaffed.

@Kimboroni Thank you so much for taking the time to research this! That's the portal I used for my initial application but when I called the company they said they only handle initial applications. Honestly though reading through the paperwork I think you are right. I'm just going to pay them and hope for the best. =)

    Thanks for your responses guys!
