Do graduate tax courses count for CPE in most states? (once licensed)
good question. i think a graduate accounting course would count for 15 CPE in some states, but I am not sure. anyone know?
In PA the tax program I'm starting next year....
Under current Pennsylvania guidelines, each two-credit course offered by the Graduate Tax Program counts for 30 hours of continuing education requirements in the area of Taxation or in the “Other” category.
That's good to know. Looks like you can get lots CPE with just a course or two. College courses are expensive but at least you don't have to pay more for more CPE.
My job will pay for any & all college classes but no CPE, so I plan to use college classes for my CPE hours.
