DO i need license for a JOB?

    Hi Guys

    I have just cleared my all 4 parts of the CPA exam, please suggest me do i need License to get a job? OR I can show my employer ‘Exam Passage Certificate’ and ‘Exam score’?

    You can say you've passed all 4 parts and that will probably put you ahead of the line vs everyone else that hasn't passed or started the exam (everything else being even). Eventually they will expect you to get your license.

    Be careful not to put yourself out there as a CPA if you're not licensed. But I think for the most part the licensing is a minor formality, and as cpham4 says being able to say you passed all 4 sections of the exam will go far for you.

    A lot of firms will hire before you've even taken the exam. I accepted a position with a Big 4 right out of college, and am currently employed there while working toward my license. Most of these companies will hire without a license, but you won't be able to advance in the company until you are licensed.
