Does anyone actually understand this business law stuff?

    This is my last exam and business law is by far the hardest to read and answer questions on from everything I’ve studied throughout all exams. I don’t remember there being anything this detailed or complicated in any of my college classes either. I can seriously read a paragraph, and then be completely unable to tell you what that paragraph was just talking about even after reading it 5 times. I don’t understand how I’m supposed to learn this stuff?

    I guess my only suggestion would be to do the MCQ's over and over until it makes some sense. Don't underestimate how much of it will be tested because its a big bulk of the exam.

    I was lucky enough to have a wonderful business law instructor in college who was able to translate law jargon into laments terms. He also used cheesy acronyms but they worked.

    I agree. Do as many MCQs until it makes sense. The first time I read it, I had no idea what they were talking about but after I did the MCQs and re-read the chapter, it made much more sense.

    Good luck!

    @rig5150:

    Becker did a good job of integrating the business law material. If you are able to listen to them it is very helpful. If not, do as many MC as possible and then re-read the section and that will help improve your understanding. Good Luck

    Had great bus law instructor and was pleasantly surprised at how Peter Olinto covers it beginning in R-5. He does excellent job, imo.

    I've jumped from R-2 to R-5 in order to spice up tax with bus law and keep lectures entertaining. Will see how is that going to work. But so far, i'm progressing in one way or another which is great thing 🙂

    I normally wouldn't suggest this, but reading a business law textbook as appropriate might be helpful in this situation. My professor wrote the book we used in class, and it was very well-written and easy to understand. You might be able to find something like that. When it came time to studying that section of the REG exam, I was really glad I'd read it prior.

    The law stuff is actually pretty intuitive. It's just dressed up in a lot of fancy wording.

    Whenever in doubt, go with the answer that sounds the most fair.

    Blaw I felt was a lot of memorizing but not so much difficult to understand. I'm a big fan of NINJA in general and the Blaw stuff is something I felt NINJA covered really well. Not sure what other courses offer but Yaeger had a good review with handouts.

    My opinion, know NINJA Notes for Blaw and do tons of MCQs… You will be good to go.

    Good luck!!!

    DONE!!! Thank you A71 for all the support! Hiya!!!

    I failed blaw in college once, dropped it twice, and barely got by when my university offered it as an online course. I took REG last month and failed with a 55 but I got a comparable score in blaw so I'm guessing that means I get it? I just read everything literally 15 times or so and did tons of MCQs but it also took me some three months to study through all that.
