I am miserable every single moment of studying. School was hard enough, but at least then I could take a day or two to relax. I am either at work, sleeping, or studying. The combination of stress and difficulty has made me miserable. I miss my old life, and I feel like I’ve wasted a third of a year of my life being this miserable.

Jopa, I feel the same way. The only thing that gets me through, is envisioning myself passing this thing and being done with it. The hardest part is that it's “go, go, go” all the time. Like, get up, get ready for work, work for 8 hours, study during lunch, get home from work, study, eat some dinner, study, go to bed. It's a struggle to find time to exercise or run any type of errands. I actually hired a house cleaning service because I can't focus if my house is dirty but I don't have time to clean it! So yeah, I'm definitely miserable too.

Oh believe me, it's horrible. At first, I tried to finish the whole exams as soon as possible. I tried to stay away from parties (but failed couple times :))), went to library every nights after work or to my husband's office on campus every weekend, felt guilty if I did not stick to the book or meet quota of the day. I was totally stressed out. After that, I decided to slow down because I did not want to “delay” living. So I gave myself more time, so that I could breath, enjoyed studying and got out of it more, allowed myself to enjoy life at the same time (went to parties, some days off from studying, etc.). Thing got better ever since.

Again, it's just short time so hang in there. I always reminded myself this “Once you passed, it's (CPA) yours, forever, no one can take it from you so just try a little more” :).

Agreed, gotta stay positive! Although, Kenada, technically this has been a ‘long-term' black hole for me as I've been studying almost every day for 20 months now! Hopefully it's over soon.

Something I find beneficial from all this studying is I've learned a LOT from having to know all this otherwise useless information. I mean if not for BEC, I wouldn't know how to use the ARC method to calculate the price elasticity of demand.

I second all of the above emotions!!! You are not alone!!! I cannot fathom failing FAR next month and having to retake BEC along with it. I just focus on either being done at the end of May or losing my whole summer and at least $500 more dollars.
