NINJA Question –

I think I learn a lot more doing mcqs than the actual book. So in the beginning sometimes I get a bunch wrong in the beginning but in the end I start getting 75%+ on all MCQ sections I do. So I’ll end up trending in the 80s but have an average at 60!

Does this matter at all come test time? I know generally you can guess your score will be high based on average and trending.

I place more emphasis on learning from the questions than trying to keep a certain average. The average means nothing on/after test day. It is nice to try and gauge your understanding but I'd rather try to only work new questions to optimize my time and make sure I've seen (/tried to understand) all of the questions before test day. I rarely work questions twice, takes to much time. I'd have to dig through the trending vs. actual thread but I believe my actual score has always been 12-17 points higher than my trending Ninja percentage.

Explain this to me: I just bought the Ninja MCQ for REG and answered 4 out of 5 questions right but am trending a 66%. How is this possible? I just bought it and have only done 5 questions total.

To me it looks like the “Trending Score” is just the “Average Score” / Total Number of Question Categories.

Or is it the average of how many you get questions right before you get one wrong?
