I just had an on campus interview with BDO and was told I would hear back from them by today if I were to move to the 2nd round. I know that I’m in a pretty bad situation since I didn’t get a call today haha but has anyone received a rejection email? Or do they just leave you hanging?

I got an On-campus interview, and I received and intivation to the second round about 2 days later.

After the second round, I received an offer the next day at around 12 noon. So, I think positive news comes fast.

Usually firms won't tell you if you've been rejected for an interview.

And there are always a couple firms who are rude enough not to get in touch and let you know you didn't make it after they've spent 30 minutes interviewing you.

No offense to the BDO folks since all offices are different, but my experience with them was bad as was some former classmates and also some colleagues. They never send rejection letters after 2nd round interviews, much less 1st round.

Don't be too disappointed. There are plenty of good firms out there to work for. Don't wait around to hear from any employer. continue the search. You never know; you could end up with more than one offer and be able to negotiate better.

Are you looking to get into auditing? Or are you just trying to fulfill the experience requirement?
