Does Florida Require an Ethics course/exam?

I am curious, because when looking at the licensure requirements listed on Florida’s website ethics is NOT mentioned.

    https://www.myfloridalicense.com/dbpr/cpa/licensure.html

To successfully obtain an original license a candidate must

Submit CPA Original Licensure application and $50.00 non refundable fee within three years of receipt

*Evidence one year of acceptable work experience.

Submit official transcripts evidencing completion of a baccalaureate degree, plus an additional 30 semester hours/45 quarter hours of education in excess of the baccalaureate degree to include 12 semester hours/18 quarter hours of upper division accounting and 15 semester/22 quarter hours of upper division general business courses.

However NASBA’s website says all states have an ethics requirement.

Ethics: Before you can get your license, you will need to fulfill an ethics requirement. Many boards accept the AICPA’s comprehensive ethics course and exam, which can be taken at any time during your testing experience, before or after passing the CPA exam.

Anyone licensed in Florida who knows the answer to this? I just want to be able to get my license as quickly as possible once I pass the exam.

There is no ethics exam/course needed for licensure, but I believe there is an ethics CPE requirement. I am a Florida CPA who has been licensed for about 9 months.

I'll confirm … NOPE! Yet another great thing about Florida.

    Licensed Florida CPA:
    B: 71, 73, 79
    A: 83
    R: 78 (expired), 77
    F: 74, 74, 80

    It's finally freaking over.
