Don't understand logic behind CPA Exam questions

Any given exam is really the luck of the draw. I’ve had one question asked twice in two different testlets. EXACT SAME QUESTION! And some exams tend to focus on one area extensively.

It really goes to show that you need to know everyting just in case. One off the wall topic could have several questions. And other “big topics” only a couple multiple choice. I wish the exams were more well rounded.

    It is what it is.

I had two questions (TWO!) that were repeated in two different testlets in my REG. I was like SMH SMH. Despite what the AICPA says, it is a test bank…and they have to pull random questions together so it's hard to have a real well-rounded exam. But, I think the AICPA is actually changing the CPA to be more “relevant.” They are re-formatting the whole exam (to be released in 2017) and asking for comments on the exam process. Saw something on AICPA's website about it, so hopefully it will be more consistent in the future.

    FAR - 82 (8/30/14)
    AUD - 95 (10/7/14)
    REG - 82 (11/7/14)
    BEC - 85 (11/26/14) - PEACE OUT!
